Before becoming an ActionCOACH, I worked as Vice-President of Corporate Marketing Services of a multinational group, heading an internal consulting team which coached subsidiaries worldwide to develop marketing strategies, sales management tools and sales training in the construction materials industries. This included assisting/coaching selected customers of these affiliates (ranging from retailers and wholesalers to large construction companies) in their own business activities.
Initially trained as an engineer, I have worked in materials research, pollution control, plant process and operations; and as project manager of multimillion dollar, large industrial projects, from the feasibility studies all the way to construction and start-ups. Most of these activities were performed for three different Global Fortune 500 multinational groups in the chemical and construction materials industries.
After completing business management programs in Canada and USA, I was put in charge of Business Development for one of these groups, covering the whole North and South American continents and later on, worldwide. Success in this activity led to the Marketing VP position mentioned above.
